Thermopac and Pak2000 choose TransLution™ for label printing & scanning
- Wednesday, 24 January 2018
Thermopac and Pak2000, divisions of Astrapak, produce high volumes of rigid moulded, and thermoformed plastic packaging products. These sites have chosen TransLution™ Software to automate the label printing process.
Thermopac, based in Cape Town, uses TransLution™ exclusively for label printing while Pak2000, based in Pinetown, utilises the system to print job labels that can be scanned to process job issues and receipts in SYSPRO.
The goal is to extend these functions to further automate processes as it is being done at two other Astrapak facilities – Marcom & Consupaq – and to extend all the processes to several other sites.
