This month we are introducing Lisl Pietersen, a Junior Implementer at Afrisoft Africa.
What do you do? I work as a Junior Implementer
When did you join Afrisoft? The 13th of February 2017
What is your favourite part of the job?
A solid tie between the constant learning, the environment (the people are really nice and helpful) and travelling (driving) to new places (considering the fact that I had a legit fear of driving before working here).
What is/has been your biggest challenge?
Adapting to the SYSPRO jargon used in the office. I still hit a blank every now and then.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
Eat good food (mostly my granny’s food), sleep (contrary to Lionel’s beliefs, sleeping before 8pm whenever you can is very important), watching all seasons of Game of Thrones and Shameless over and over again and spending time with friends and family (I know this should have been first on the list).
What word/phrase do you overuse?
“Legit” and “like” , I cringe just thinking about it.
What is your biggest extravagance?
I definitely spend way too much money on my sisters. And not even on important things, I need to re-evaluate my life.
How would your friends describe you?
Uhm, friendly, a good listener, quite focussed and hardworking, the biggest dreamer, and of course blonde. Even I can’t believe how blonde I am at times.
What keeps you awake at night?
Just wanting to do more and be more, you know?
What is your philosophy on life?
Just One? ….. Never stop learning, loving and growing. In essence: Do more, Be More.
