This month we are getting to know two valued members of our team, Kelly Bokelmann and Connie Ndadza, and putting faces to the names you may have heard over the phone or through email. We asked them about their work, down-time and what keeps them up at night…

What do you do?
I am the business analyst at Afrisoft. I outline and document client requirements and draw up the necessary documentation used for the project to be configured.

When did you join Afrisoft?
I joined in November 2013.

What is your favourite part of the job?
I really enjoy the diversity of the industries that our clients are in. It keeps each project interesting and broadens ones knowledge on the different types of processes out there.

What is/has been your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge has been to keep up with the number of projects we have and to continue to offer our clients the best service they deserve.

What do you do when you aren’t working?
I love the outdoors, so whenever I get a chance I am either hiking, cycling, running or swimming. My hobbies also include woodwork; I like to make frames, tables, bookshelves and any practical things that are required around the house.

What word do you overuse?
“Awesome” and “cool”, just like everybody else.

What is your biggest extravagance?
I’m generally quite conservative in my spending, but travelling is the most expensive activity I enjoy.

How would your friends describe you?
Bubbly, friendly, sincerely caring, active.

What keeps you awake at night?
I’m a problem solver, so until I have a solution I won’t be able to sleep.

What is your philosophy on life?
Gratitude turns what you have into enough.

Doing training

What is/has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge with Afrisoft has been when I was put on a much bigger project for go-live.

Shopping!
